I was craving korean food , so I decided to check this place. I went late in the afternoon so it wasn't packed. The food came pretty fast and server was friendly. All the menu item was under $12.

It's a small restaurant so make sure you go when it's not too packed. It's   a casual place to grab a bite and it beats the fast food joints. The food was a decent size. I got the bee bim bob for 9.95$ (not including tip) and my friend got the duk maan doo gook which consist of dumplings & rice cake in soup 9.95$. You get a big bowl of soup, the downside is that they only put a small amount of  rice cakes..

all in all, good place to check out on a budget, other than fast food.

This is a small dainty restaurant. I got the noodles to go and they were excellent! The portion was perfect for the price. Seems to be full of students. The service is fast, friendly and efficient. Will recommend checking it out.

Surprisingly good despite being a campus dig.    It seems to be a korean mom and pops run restaurant. It's a small space but they fit a group of 6 in during lunch hour. It was clean and efficient service and they provided complementary marinated bean sprouts and kimchi with free refills too. They had a lot of options, but I had the stone bowl bibimbap and it was tasty. Not the best I've had, but still tasty!

Friendaly stuffs and variety food choices. I ordered the spicy tofu soup and I was kinda disappointed. There were really small amount of beef in the soup and the beef slices were tiny, same thing happened to the tofu pieces. :/

I can't say how many times I have passed by Gaya. It has been here for many years. I decided to check it out, and found the restaurant to be busy - a good sign. Also, all of the other customers were Asian - another good sign, as it made me think the food would be tasty and authentic.

I ordered bulgogi, and found the meat to be plentiful, tender, and well-seasoned. Unfortunately, that was about all I can say that was good about the food. The beef was served with vegetables that were mostly cabbage and had little flavour. The rice was plain and white, but that was to be expected. The small condiment orders of spocy kinchi and bean sprout salad were nice, but ultimately could not save what was a mediocre meal. The portion was good for $12, but flavour-wise, I would not order it again.

As well, I ordered green tea ($1.75) which was a mug of hot water with a tea bag floating in it. I was expecting a pot at the very least.

The place is very small and plain, which is fine, but the washrooms are nowhere to be seen. Wherever they were, they were not accessible from the dining area.

Service was friendly and the food came quickly.
